Klosetslayer Owner Marcia Arnsparger Santiago & Partner Renita Taylor Due to Unveil New Fitness Brand During New York Fashion Week

Marcia Arnsparger Santiago is the renowned celebrity designer and owner of KlosetSlayer, as seen on VH1’s “Black Ink Crew”. Marcia is known for breaking through ceilings others typically allow to confine them. Klosetslayer, launched in 2014, has been displayed in New York Fashion Week for the past few years and this year, Marcia is bringing something to the runway that will surely captivate the audience….the dynamic Werkkkk It Out fitness brand! This year will be the first time a fitness brand will be introduced at New York Fashion Week and Marcia and her partner, Renita Taylor, are thrilled! Not only is Renita a long time friend and partner of Marcia’s, but she is also a certified personal trainer who understands the hard work and hurdles it takes to reach fitness goals! Well-known Kimberly Brown will be headlining the fitness brand which will further enhance the audience’s excitement!

The prestigious event will be held at the House of Mirrors in Manhattan on September 9th at 8:30PM. Marcia and Renita admit that it wasn’t an easy task to get Werkkkk It Out in New York Fashion Week. However, with hard work and diligence, their dreams came true. The blueprint for the new fitness line went into development in 2020, during the heat of the pandemic. The two partners knew it is discouraging for many people to work out in the gym and they wanted to change that. Werkkkk It Out varies in sizes from small to 6x, ensuring there is something for everyone! Inclusivity is of the utmost importance to Marcia and Renita! To further stand by their testaments, plus size models will be walking the runway on September 9th to reveal the new fitness brand and its diversity.

Recently renewing her wedding vows in New Orleans, Marcia fully embodied her inner fashionista! One of her clients located in New Orleans has been invited to walk the runway while wearing the new fitness line! Marcia and Renita have made it abundantly clear they are just getting started. Within a short time frame, they have climbed the ladder within the fashion industry rather quickly.

Due to all of their accomplishments, Marcia was asked what message she has for others who are looking to pursue a career in fashion. She expressed, “Never take no for an answer. I will torture somebody until they say yes. Keep networking. When you send people stuff, they will use it.” Marcia explained that Rich Dollaz continues to wear the jacket she gave him till this day simply because he loves it and believes in the brand!
