Artist MarkyB is Establishing Himself as a Musician and Fashion Designer
Many aspiring musicians are putting in huge efforts to make a name for themselves, but success in the music industry comes with its own challenges. You need to be unique enough to stand out and accomplish your goals. MarkyB, on the other hand, has managed to enter both the music and fashion industries.
MarkyB’s fashion labels are called SiBilance and Marky Swim. He is currently working on launching SiBilance as a luxury streetwear label. Along with that, Marky Swim will drop in early 2023, which will focus on women’s swimwear. MarkyB takes pride in these achievements as he’s a true creator.
In terms of music, MarkyB is intrigued by genres like punk and alternative music. He usually adds his own unique touch and spin on things to create different beats. Exploring music and curating what he loves started at a very young age. MarkyB has played various musical instruments since his early childhood.
MarkyB can play the piano, guitar, drums, and saxophone. Growing up with a strong exposure to music led to him creating beats and lyrics. Music started as a hobby for MarkyB for the longest time, but he realized his talent when he got the chance to work on it with dedication. In 2020, when the world closed down, MarkyB reconnected with music, which resulted in something fruitful.
MarkyB’s first music release Hollywood Whore was in 2021, and since then, there has been no stopping his musical journey. In 2022 he dropped two singles, Broken Lies and Lipstick Stains, as an independent artist that has crossed over 200K streams. Moreover, his first music video Broken Lies has garnered more than 54K views, and the numbers keep increasing.
Whether it’s fashion or music, MarkyB has invested a lot of his time and effort into creating something that speaks for itself. He advises other artists to hustle quietly and let their success speak for them. You should also be focused and hard-working enough to achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself. Consistency is key and the most difficult to maintain, but it does pay off.
MarkyB has faced various challenges to get where he is today. Learning how the industry works was not easy, and being self-aware and careful is the only way to navigate these paths. Staying aware of your surroundings is important if you plan to become part of the industry.
Setting goals for his future is important for MarkyB as he believes they will eventually determine his progress. He looks forward to performing and touring around the globe. Taking his songs to a level where they can become number one on the Hot 100 list motivates MarkyB to work harder.
