From Pennsylvania to Georgia Tash P is Taking Over the Hip Hop Game
Latasha Perry, better known by her stage name Tash P is on a trajectory to be one of the greats. She is a fast-rising Hip-Hop / R&B artist and upcoming producer who was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1990, Tash P began her music career in 2004 at the impressive age of only 14 years old…It didn’t take long for her to make a name for herself; so much so that she was picked up by the independent label Sykkline where she went on to win the “Best Female Rap Artist of The Year” award at the Central PA Hip-Hop Awards 2009. Climbing the ladder and determined to take advantage of and not let any opportunities pass her by, Tash P put herself in the position to open up for Fabulous and even Trey Songs. The following year Tash P made the big move (quite literally speaking) to Atlanta, Georgia which was during the same time that she was tackling college on top of all else. Fast forward to 2023 and Tash P has come a long way from her first single “BubbleGum” and her first project “Got Tash P” the mixtape. With sights set on features and collaborations with artists by the likes of H.E.R., The Game, Hit Maka and more there’s plenty to be looking forward to coming up. Tash P has also recently been working on a new EP titled “In My Thoughts 2” and there are rumors that either that project or another will be releasing February 2023. In the meantime, you can check out the latest release by Tash P “Pull Up” featuring Jahlese & Mazon.
