Sofitel Los Angeles Launches Art De Vivre Dining Series Featuring Inaugural Event with Artist Ruben Rojas
On Thursday, January 26th the inaugural Art De Vivre dinner kicked off featuring Artist Ruben Rojas at the Sofitel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills.
International Artist Ruben Rojas and Executive Chef Fernando Berdolla meticulously curated a seven course menu that intertwined Rojas’ art with his Colombian roots complimented by pairings of specialty cocktails.
Special guests included Lewis Howes, Lifestyle Entrepreneur, Business Coach, Keynote Speaker; Martha Higareda, Entrepreneur, Actor, Producer, Screenwriter; Cedric The Entertainer, Director, Actor, Comedian, Game Show Host; Humble The Poet , Best Selling Author, Speaker, Designer, Musician, Spoken Word Artist; and more.
Every serving color coincided with an explanation of each item placed before guests. The decor was set with Rojas’ signature art while upbeat Latin music provided guests the soundtrack to vibe to!
During the dinner, guests were treated to a menu whose main dishes featured food and desserts tied to Rojas’ Colombian roots where his love of food and art began. The platework and dishes included elements of Ruben’s art including edible love components.

The dinner took place in a private dining area inside of Riviera 31 and the menu included Tapa: Arepa de Chocolo; Apertura: Empanada; Segundo: Sancocho; Intermezzo: Limonada de Coco; Mar: Crudo; Tierra: Bandeja Paisa; and Dulce: Pudin de Queso y Arequipe. The meals were pairs with custom cocktails including El Querido, Azul, Amarillo, and Verde. The tableware featured custom “Love” plates designed by Ruben for guests to take as a parting gift.
Sofitel’s global Art de Vivre program celebrates the enjoyment of the best things in life: the experiences of beauty, knowledge, and humanity at their deepest and most inspiring. The series will feature different guests and the inaugural evening chose Ruben Rojas to encapsulate his message of love. His message of “Live Through Love” is present throughout Rojas’ art, fashion and podcast which hope to inspire the community and change the world for the better.
