Billboard Returns to SXSW with ‘THE STAGE’ and Three Nights of Concerts

Billboard, the renowned global music brand, has announced its return to South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, TX. The three-night event will feature star-studded concerts and an interactive content house that includes intimate conversations with musicians and industry leaders. From Thursday, March 16 to Saturday, March 18, the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park will host Billboard Presents THE STAGE at SXSW, headlined by Lil Yachty (March 16), Feid and Eladio Carrión (March 17), and Kx5 (Kaskade and deadmau5) (March 18). Lola Brooke and Armani White will open the concert series. Tickets can be purchased online, and a limited number of reserved spaces are available exclusively for existing SXSW Music and Platinum Badge holders and SXSW Music Festival wristband holders on a first come first serve basis.

Aside from the music, The Billboard House (800 Congress) will host several unforgettable conversations featuring various artists, with official speakers to be announced in the coming weeks. On Friday, March 17, the one-day-only interactive content house will also feature brand activations, one-of-a-kind photo moments, small bites and cocktails, and more. Entry is on a first come first serve basis, with a limited number of reserved spaces available exclusively to SXSW Music and Platinum Badge holders and SXSW Music Festival wristband holders.

Thursday, March 16

  • Lil Yachty Presented by Doritos®: On the heels of his new album Let’s Start Here debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard charts across Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums, Doritos®, and Lil Yachty will hit the stage and take things to Another Level with an electrifying performance.

Friday, March 17

  • Conversations at The Billboard House: This year’s free content house will offer festival attendees the opportunity to experience a series of interactive activations and industry-focused discussions, with speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.
  • Feid and Eladio Carrión Presented by Samsung Galaxy: Global Latin superstars Feid and Eladio Carrión will deliver show-stopping performances featuring Billboard chart-topping hits from their albums Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo: Te Pirateamos El Álbum and SEN2 KBRN VOL. 2.

Saturday, March 18

  • Kx5 (Kaskade x deadmau5) Presented by Carnival Cruise Line: Hot off the release of their debut albumKx5, which features Top 40 and Billboard #1 dance track “Escape,” as well as their record-breaking Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum stadium show that was the biggest ticketed global headliner dance event of 2022, electronic music artists Kx5 will close out the three-night concert series with a can’t-miss dance party that’s sure to bring the crowd to their feet.

Moreover, a portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that aims to create an urban park system in partnership with the city of Austin. Waterloo Park, the first of the organization’s three phases, opened in 2021 to provide 11 acres of downtown green space, community programming, and performing arts and entertainment at the Moody Amphitheater.

Additionally, Billboard will share Reels on its official Facebook page across the three-day experience, and fans will have the opportunity to create custom Facebook Reels with unique experiential activations throughout SXSW. The event will be live reported on, and followers can stay updated by following @billboard on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
