Bob the Drag Queen Releases Hip Hop Phenomena EP ‘GAY BARZ’

Superstar of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, star of HBO’s “We’re Here”, and hit podcast “Sibling Rivalry”, Bob the Drag Queen is celebrating the release of his long-awaited EP “GAY BARZ”, a music phenomenon. With YouTube views of over 3 million on songs like “Purse First”, his new EP promises to skyrocket like fireworks plunging into the midnight sky and shattering the darkness….

In Bob’s own words regarding the project: “ “I think this EP really encapsulates who I am. It’s very silly, but then it has moments where it’s very serious. Where would we even put this project?! Is it comedy? Is it hip-hop? Is it dance? . . . I think my EP is for queer people, allies, Black queers … if you’re into house, ballroom, and drag, I think you’ll love this project! . . . I also wanted to find opportunities to feature other queer artists who I love, who really excite me, and who I look up to. This all just feels really exciting to me! . . . Ocean Kelly and I met through TikTok, I LOVE TikTok! I found out about their song “Wanda’s C*nty Vision,” and it was so wildly good, I’d be constantly playing it on full blast. Ocean Kelly is my new drag daughter, and I absolutely loved working with her on this EP.”

Featured artists on the project include Monet X-Change, Kamera Tyne, Mikey Angelo, Arewa Basit, and Ocean Kelly. It was also produced by Ocean Kelly, Sam Garfield, and Mitch Ferrino, with Tomas Costanza as the engineer. Bob has had an ongoing successful music career but is very excited about the release of “GAY BARZ.”
