His love of music and the art of deejaying, inspired DJ Herbert Holler to create The Freedom Party in 2003, and it’s now New York City’s longest-lasting party, winning Papermag’s award for Best Party (People’s Choice) and receiving an honorable mention in URB Magazine’s Best Party nationwide in 2010. In addition, The Freedom Party won Village Voice’s highly coveted award for Best Dance Party in 2015, just to name a few.
