ADELANTE, CA – July 19, 2023 – Dr. Suga-T, renowned artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, is set to host the Official West Coast Hip Hop Awards and release the highly anticipated Hip Hop Her5oth Exhibit on August 5th, 2023. The event will take place at the Adelante Event Center in Adelante, CA, with the exhibit starting at 5:00 PM and the awards ceremony commencing at 7:30 PM.

Building upon her previous successful awards shows, Dr. Suga-T continues her commitment to women empowerment and fostering community conversations that matter. The Hip Hop Her5oth Exhibit provides a platform for individuals with meaningful messages, products, brands, talent, and services to be showcased and highlighted. The event will honor women who have made significant contributions to sustaining the hip hop culture or have implemented innovative aspects in the industry.

At the forefront of the HER Museum, Dr. Suga-T’s mission is to address women and girl empowerment, promote community wellness, and encourage the pursuit of smart arts. The exhibit spotlights positive role models and influential black women who have played pivotal roles in their respective industries and have made an impact in their communities. The inaugural exhibit showcases women of San Francisco and features the SOS project, along with other mentor programs that focus on leadership, while addressing issues of violence within communities and redirecting negative behaviors towards sustainable opportunities.

Dr. Suga-T Stevens has dedicated her efforts to transforming pain into peace, passion, prosperity, and purpose, aiming to create avenues that allow her own legacy to soar. With a remarkable discography of 25 albums and a deep understanding of the impact of ageism on women in hip hop, especially women in the SF Bay Area, she provides a safe platform for women and girls to harness and develop their gifts and talents, while helping to preserve the legacy of others like her.
