Felicia Onwuemele the Canada-Based Gospel Minister Releases ‘The Altar Encounter’

The songs were written within a span of 3 years- from 2019-2022- They were birthed during a period of pain, yes. Sometimes in life when we are confronted with the unexpected, we can become disappointed and disillusioned, and if care is not taken, lose hope. Enter Felicia Onwuemele and her release The Altar Encounter.

In life, we can be faced with a challenge that might even be impossible to share with another but GOD who sees the beginning and the ending of a thing is our only hope. So, that was exactly what I did. I ran to God. I stayed at the ALTAR and received an ENCOUNTER that not only healed me but liberated me. My focus was renewed and redefined.

It was during this process that the Holy Spirit inspired these songs. In the beginning, all I did was pick up the songs to encourage myself until GOD gave me the GRACE to produce them with the hope that it might be a blessing to someone.

Whatever you are going through just put your confidence in God and believe that there is no other God than Jehovah. “Believe that Jesus alone is your anchor, fix your sail in him and you will be safe.

Safely Ashore- Heb 6: 19-“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20 NKJV

A new Life- 2 Cor 3:17-18 “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” II Corinthians 3:16-18 NKJV

BIOGRAPHY
One word that adequately captures the essence and person of Felicia Onwuemele is WORSHIPPER.

She is a lifelong learner who is passionate about growth and supports others to grow. She is a grandmother, a nurse, and a psychotherapist!

Felicia Onwuemele (Nee Adebayo) was born into the ruling house of Agura of Gbagura in Ogun state, Nigeria. Born and bred in Lagos and completed her initial education as a nurse, midwife and public health nursing also in Lagos. Felicia relocated to Canada over two decades ago.

Felicia began her music journey at a tender age by joining the choir.
She is passionate about worship and the service of God using her talents and gifts to help others around her to do the same.

Her first EP released in July 2023 ushered in the birth of a DREAM long-held. The album features the following tracks, “New Life, My Confidence, No Foreign god, Safely Ashore and You Reign”Her varied background and exposure have helped shape her versatility as a minister and a gospel artist.

Felicia served as a choir leader in TREM and RCCG. She is an ordained pastor within the RCCG denomination.

Felicia sees age as just a number and believes that as a child of the King anything and everything is possible for you to achieve greatness in life.

When she achieved her master’s degree at the age of fifty to become a registered psychotherapist it became clear to everyone that she was relentless and unstoppable.

Felicia currently practices as a public health nurse in addition to operating her private practice called Restoration Room Counselling located in the Durham region of Ontario Canada where she helps individuals, couples, and families navigate the troubled waters of life.

She is married and blessed with 3 children. Her heart and her messages are about unleashing your potential as a child of the King and trusting the Lord to do the impossible in our lives.
