JVKE Reveals “Lavender” Featuring Pink Sweat$

Multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer JVKE is premiering “Lavender,” a new song featuring Pink Sweat$.
Of the song, JVKE explains, “the smell of lavender creates feelings of peace and calm and this song is about a love that does the same. when i finished writing this and sat back to listen for the first time, I kept hearing pink sweat$ on it…ya know, he does this type of music so well. i’m just happy he like it when I sent it him. couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.”

The new song follows his latest series of releases “this is what winter feels like,” “this is what autumn feels like” and “this is what space feels like,” as well as the colossal success of his 3x Platinum hit single “golden hour.” “golden hour” reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, top 10 at Top 40 radio, as well as #1 on Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart and Global Viral chart simultaneously. The song has amassed over 1 billion global streams and the various remixes have generated an additional 100 million global streams to date.

ABOUT JVKE
JVKE traveled a tried-and-true road to a fresh, focused, and fiery sound. The Rhode Island-born singer, songwriter, and producer logged countless hours on multiple instruments since the age of three, discovered production by high school, and crafted the kind of pop anthems that soar and surprise all at once. Powered by buoyant beats, lithe guitar, and unshakable hooks, he has amassed over 2.8 billion streams, 35+ billion views of his music across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, built an audience of 28 million-plus followers across social media, and attracted the support of everyone from Charli D’Amelio to Charlie Puth.

JVKE’s breakout hit “Upside Down” went viral following its release in 2020 and has generated over 400 million streams to date. The song’s meteoric success led to a Charlie Puth remix collaboration, which earned both JVKE and Charlie a 2021 “Trending” VMA nomination. JVKE followed up the success of his debut single with a series of releases in 2021 including his second viral hit single “this is what falling in love feels like” and teamed up with global DJ superstar Galantis on “Dandelion,” a joint release that has accumulated over 100 million streams to date. In addition to his viral hit singles, JVKE’s production work has been featured on Eric Bellinger’s GRAMMY-nominated album New Light.

Since the release of “golden hour,” JVKE has delivered powerful performances of the track on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, and on “GMA3: What You Need to Know.” He was also named the MTV PUSH artist for October 2022 and American Airlines’ Artist for the Month of December 2022, and took the stage at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball performing at iconic arenas Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last December. Last August marked his first-ever headline tour, with dates sold out across the country.

ABOUT PINK SWEAT$
The multi-platinum West Philadelphia-born and East Coast-based singer/songwriter, Pink Sweat$, continues to push love anytime he picks up a microphone, amplifying romance through each and every infectiously intergalactic anthem. After piling up over 1 billion streams and earning widespread critical acclaim, he set the mood for a new era of love on his latest project, the 2023 Volume 3 EP [Independent].

“Love is the one thing that never gets old,” he muses. “It will never go out of style, like Jordans. It’s a dark world, and I’m spreading light and love to people. We are all walking around in these adult bodies with little children inside of us we’re trying to protect. My purpose is to speak to your inner child.”

He’s done just that since first emerging out of his native Philly with the platinum-certified “Honesty” in 2018. Following the Volume 1 EP, Volume 2 EP, and The Prelude EP, he served up his 2021 full-length debut, Pink Planet. The single “At My Worst” reached gold status, while the project incited widespread tastemaker applause. Beyond looks from Rolling Stone, People, UPROXX, The FADER, BET, Apple Music, Ones To Watch, and many more, The New York Times attested, “As an album, ‘Pink Planet’ extols fidelity and continuity, both to a partner and to a long musical heritage,” and Billboard hailed “his genre-blending music and sentimental lyricism.” In the meantime, he delivered showstopping performances everywhere from “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!” to Governors Ball and Coachella.
