If you’re looking to make friends in high places that love to smoke up as much as you do, there are plenty of celebs to choose from.

Hollywood and the music industry have been the epicenter of cannabis culture in the US and beyond for decades now, with some of the biggest names in the biz being synonymous with their love for the bud. Here are the celebrity stoners we’d most like to smoke a bowl with.

1. Rihanna

Of all of the hardcore celebrity stoners, RnB legend Rihanna has always been the most unabashed over her love of weed. The singer reportedly makes sure she is well-supplied wherever she is in the world, and has won fans over with her regular Instagram and Snapchat stories where she kicks back at home, lights up, and talks with her fans.

2. Snoop Dogg

Is there anyone in the music industry more committed to weed than Snoop Dogg? While his song lyrics and movies are dominated with references to his favorite plant, Dogg will go down in history for his 2012 documentary Reincarnated, in which he explores Rastafarian culture in Jamaica and shares long missives with the viewer on why weed will save the Earth.

3. Patrick Stewart

If you didn’t see that curveball coming, don’t worry, most people don’t. It turns out that the Star Trek legend is a big proponent of the health benefits of cannabis, which he takes for his arthritis and regularly extolls as a treatment for all kinds of ailments. Stewart has been a proponent of marijuana as a health treatment for decades, long before the legal CBD and THC industry brought us mass-market products such as Simpsons’ oil cancer treatment. We’re sure he’s pleased with how far we’ve come.

4. Cheech & Chong

If any celebrities could be described as the physical embodiment of weed culture, it’s the Grammy-award winning comedy duo Cheech & Chong. Their iconic stand-up shows and moves from the 1970s and ’80s made many of the same arguments for legalization that are still being made today, while their happy-go-lucky demeanor cemented popular perceptions of the American hippy stoner.

5. Miley Cyrus

The former Disney star went all-in with her R-rated revival back in 2013, and her loud and proud love of bud played a central part in that. Cyrus claims to smoke up every single day, and regularly uses giant bongs, inflatable marijuana leaves, and oversized blunts for her stage performances. Although few people saw it coming, Cyrus has quickly turned herself into one of the most recognizable faces of marijuana culture in the world.

6. Whoopi Goldberg

The legendary talk show host and actress Whoopi Goldberg is another star who is very vocal about the apparent health benefits of cannabis, as she believes discovering weed was the one thing that made her glaucoma bearable. Since then, she has gone on to pen a regular weed column in the Denver Post, where she extolls the virtues of the plant and tells readers how to make edibles and how to create the right vibe for a smoke session.
