Ten – Time WNBA All-Star Sue Bird Throws Out First Pitch, Seattle Mariners Vs New York Yankees Game

Ten- Time WNBA All- Star and future Hall of Famer Sue Bird led her fellow All-Stars to the mound for the ceremonial first pitch. The Seattle Mariners are hosting the New York Yankees in a four game series at Safeco Field. The Mariners were able to take care of The Yankees 1 to 0 and are currently 2.5 games behind New York for the final wild card. The 2 game of the four game series will resume tonight at Safeco Field as the Mariners take on the Yankees. The Mariners are looking to continue to gain ground on the Yankees in the wild card run and we will have to see how the rest of this series turns out.
