Who Is: Chantel Jeffries

Meet Chantel Jeffries, Hollywood’s newest IT girl. Hailing from sunny Southern California, Chantel has all the makings of a starlet on the rise.

While her professional career started in modeling, she’s since ventured into acting and hosting and is a successful entrepreneur with her two business ventures, Chantelle XO and Club Noir.

Chantel first fell in love with acting as a child. After spending countless hours watching movies and reading plays as a young girl, she jumped at the chance to be a key member in her high school’s drama club and immersed herself in acting and theatre classes to hone her skills. She took this passion to the next level while in college taking classes in improvisation, voiceovers and acting. After being discovered on the beaches of Miami by a model scout and later signing to Wilhelmina Models, Chantel’s unmistakeable beauty could be seen on dozens of fashion and lifestyle brands, including Solstice Sunglasses and Mint Swim.

Who is Chantel Jeffries?

I would describe myself as energetic and adventurous. I love trying new things. Keeping life interesting is what its all about. There aren’t too many things I won’t try at least once. Oh, and I love to make people laugh.

What made you want to become a model? What do you feel makes you a “Hottie”?

Being 5’6” I never really thought of being a model. Actually, I was always interested in acting. As far as being a “Hottie,” I think that comes from self-confidence and good vibes. Modeling for me is fun and a good motivation to stay in shape. But as far as a career, I have quite different goals and ambitions.

You are signed with the Wilhemina Modeling agency, was this a game changer for your career and if so, how?

Being signed with such a prestigious agency helped my career for sure, but I think my career as well as life in general is a compilation of everything building on the next move. Signing with Wilhelmina helped me grow as a model and understand the industry much better.

I know you have a cosmetic line, amongst other things, is modeling your ultimate career goal? Tell me a little more about the other things going on in your career.

My ultimate career goal is to continue with my business ventures as well as comedic acting. Right now, I’m working on acting, developing myself as a TV personality and host, my makeup line, “Chantelle XO” and my accessory line, “Club Noir” and of course, doing a bit of modeling here and there. Is there anything that you would like your fans to know about up and coming career moves, that they may not already know about?

Well, they don’t call me “CeeJay the DJ” for nothing. Lol. While music is a hobby of mine I’m interested in seeing how that will tie into what else I’m doing career wise. Who knows maybe hosting some music based awards or shows *wink wink*.

Last but not least, HYPE wants to know…What’s your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?!” moment…

I’m not sure I know exactly what this question is asking, but if it is something outlandish that has happened to me, then there is so many random things I’d probably have to write a book! I feel like my life is full of uncanny coincidences and it is honestly hilarious at most times. The crazier the better in my opinion. Never a dull moment.
