From Insta-fame to a check, the reality TV way: Meet The Westbrooks
Already being compared to the Kardashians who have turned reality TV starring into international stardom, a new collective of Social Media stars have turned sisterhood, IG popularity and above all else being loopy into a check from BET. Whose to say it can’t work ? Well the naysayers by far have already took to their comment clicks with bashing and doubt that these 5 young African-American women could ever eclipse the standard set by the K-clan.
Premiering last night on BET, the show seems to pack a punch and if nothing else highlights the fact that your likes can turn into revenue as long as you can carry everyone’s attention. Rumored relationships (with the likes of Souljah Boy and The Game), as well as efforts to brand themselves as entrepreneurs, socialites, and more fuel the next big thing in Reality TV. Meet sisters India, Crystal, Morgan, Bree and Brooke as they star in the new reality series The Westbrooks Wednesdays 10 p.m. ET/PT on BET.
