Who is Cristina Quiñones? #OfficialHype

Powerful, Stunning, and Remarkable are just a few words that describe this extremely talented Rock/Pop Singer-Songwriter Miss Cristina Quinones. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia to American-Hispanic parents, Father Puerto Rican/German American and Mother Mexican-American. Including nine other Multicultural siblings. For which, they have proven to be instrumental in allowing her to musically express her roots both in the Hispanic and American Cultures.

At the tender age of 12, she performed her first live performance for Tavis Smiley’s BET event and since then she has created a certified Buzz in the Music Industry. Cristina’s unique talent blends are a combination of Rock, Pop and some dance styles. She’s quite the seasonal performer as she maintains a rigorous schedule. She has developed a captivating stage presence where ever she performs. In the past 9 years Cristina has performed nearly 900 shows to date so far.

The Global music movement is far more than a trend. Cristina’s presence reflects the atmosphere and attitude of the Modern American, Where minorities and people of mixed heritage are present everywhere from the White House to the Opera House. Cristina’s magnetism, partnered with an enviable beauty and girl next-door charm, all hint at success for years to come.

As you see yourself, who is Cristina Quiñones?

Cristina is the kind of girl who loves the things she is passionate about. I love exploring life and making music. I mean, it’s basically my home. I’m the girl with the guitar and the dream to make a change in the world.

Tell us about your current project?

I am currently working on my double EP which will be in english/spanish. It’s going to be something different and worth talking about and I’m extremely excited to be showing the world my work.

What’s happened in your career that makes you feel this is the industry for you?

I was doing a show in New York when I was about 15 or 16 and I remember getting on the stage and seeing the crowd get so involved in my performance. It was a show for the Latin community and I just remember getting off the stage wanting to always feel that rush and excitement. The looks on their faces when I sang was something I’ll never forget. I love making music for those reasons.

What makes you the next great happening?

I want to make a difference with my music and with my art. I think that I have something different to show the world and when they hear the new stuff coming out I think they will understand where I’m coming from.

Are you currently signed to a label or have any situation in the making?

We are actually in a position of making that happen in the current moment. It’s only a matter of time but of course it’s in God’s hands. I am just happy to be meeting the people I’ve met on this journey.

Who and what are your influences?

My biggest influence was Pink, JLO and Selena Quintanilla. I grew up listening to their albums and I was so inspired to become the person I am today because of them.

What should people expect from your upcoming 2016 projects?

Well we are in the works with the double EP and working on an upcoming music video for my single. There is so much more that is happening and I can’t wait till everything comes together to show the world what that is exactly.

Is there anything you would like our readers to know?

Just that without God, none of this would be possible. Whatever you do never give up on your dreams no matter what others say. My journey is just beginning and I would love for the readers to be a part of it of every minute and every day of it.
