Who Is Travie Bowe?

Words by Michelle “Chella” Magee

The rap game is redeeming itself in big ways. Travie Bowe brings you that island flavor with a dash of 90’s old school rap. The brother is smooth, bringing you melodic beats that you can sit back and chill to.  He made quite a name for himself in 2014 releasing his first mixtape titled “Chemistry”. The project was a joint effort along with his close friend Jared Albury aka “Skully”. The amount of thought that went into the project was unmatched. One of the lead singles from the mix-tape was a track called “Oh Lord” which features Travis Bowe alone and was the driving force behind his recent success and invaluable opportunities, such as opening up for artists like K-camp, Migos and headlining social events around his city.  Travis Bowe aka Travie Bowe is from the small island of Nassau, Bahamas. He is certainly putting the island on the map!

Travis has recently dropped a new mix-tape in 2015 titled “$tand Out Guy$” along with producer “Rvmbeaux” his first solo body of work to date.  He has shot videos in Miami and his hometown for the project. The first single “If It’s Cool” is a feel good, love song that is sure to make any woman’s heart go pitter patter! With his handsomely boyish good looks and charisma the ladies will love this video. The second part of the video “The B” pays homage to his roots in the Bahamas portraying the beautifulscenery as Travie and his homies kick back and enjoy the island!  Stay up to date with Travie Bowe he is focused, driven and here to stay!
