As you see your self, who is YOUNG MARCO?

A young humble singer, songwriter and musician from the Southside of Atlanta. I over analyze everything and my music reflects that. I feel like I’m the voice of our generation of in regards to growing up and touching on new topics of love and positive ways of life.

Tell us about your current project?

Currently I’m working on my debut EP “4OUR Generation” I am super excited to release this project . I must say it honestly captures me and the essence of free expression.

What’s happened in your career that makes you feel this is the industry for you?

Being named “Bet music matters artist 2015” that experience was amazing and eye opening to my future. Now an interview with your publication, “THE HYPE MAGAZINE “…. I’m on my way. 🙂

What makes you the next great happening?

Great question !!! I would have to say my work ethic! As well as My approach to the type of music I perform. As a young Africa American artist, born in an urban community, the expectations of my artistry differs from what I actually do. I play the guitar and sing love songs, that can rap. There so much diversity in my music that it’s unexpected based on cultural stereotype. I believe there is room for my kind.

Are your currently signed to a label or have any situation in the making?

I am signed to an independent label that’s family owned with digital distribution through Empire Distribution.

Who and what are your influences?

My musical influences are Ed sheeran, Michael Jackson and DRAKE My personal influencer is my Manager Shonica Crocker

What should people expect from your upcoming 2016 projects?

Honest music with a feel good vibe! Music”4our” generation! Positive, real experiences and fun. It’s what I call #wavemusic

Is there anything you would like our readers to know?

Yes! I have a fan following called J.A.G. That’s stands for “Just a Genius”. I want people to know that everything you hear from me is self taught, through artist development! Anything that you want to do, you can if you believe, and that alone makes you a J.A.G. I aspire to inspire!

Man!!!! What’s not crazy anymore my today’s standards. Lol. So much, but we will keep it PG…..one moment moment Was in Texas when fans found out what hotel I was in and chase me around the entire building !
