New Music: Jason Derulo ‘If It Ain’t Love’

JD_IAL_r4_01_bodyJason Derulo just dropped one of the hottest joints I’ve heard this week. This cat’s depth and diversity is going to get him listed in the “Who’s Who” list of folks who make eternal music. This one hit’s on all cylinders 5/5 for me.

“If It Ain’t Love” is the first single released post Derulo’s 2015 album Everything Is 4!, which spawned the hit “Want To Want Me”.  The track was a #1 hit at CHR/Top 40 and Mainstream AC in Canada! It climbed as high as #2 at Hot AC – not #1, but not too shabby!

Jason Derulo signed to Beluga Heights in 2009 after producing and writing songs for the likes of Birdman, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Danity Kane, Sean Kingston and Cassie.  Since his self-titled debut that year and touring with Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas, the 2011 pop Songwriter of the Year has become a global force selling over 15 million tracks domestically and 25 million worldwide due to a string of radio hits including those from his latest album, “Talk Dirty (feat 2 Chainz)”, and “Wiggle”.

In addition, Derulo has sealed his reputation as a global chart-topping star. He was a five-time winner at the BMI Pop Awards, and was honored as its “Songwriter of the Year” in 2011. Derulo has also won three Teen Choice Awards and earned an array of international award nominations including MTV Video Music, MTV Europe Music, Billboard Latin Music, ARIA Music, American Music, NAACP Image, and MOBO Awards. Most recently, he was nominated for an iHeart Radio Music Award for “Best Collaboration” with 2 Chainz for “Talk Dirty.”
