Champs Sports(R) and Under Armour celebrate release of the Curry 3 SC Camo Colorway

Champs Sports® and Under Armour Celebrate the Release of the Curry 3 SC Camo Colorway with an exclusive #CurryOps event and pop – up store in the Bay Area

Champs Sports and Under Armour partnered to create memorable experiences surrounding the widely anticipated launch of the Curry 3 SC Camo colorway beginning with #CurryOps; an interactive retail experience in the Bay Area.

The Curry 3 mid style SC Camo color way released exclusively at the #CurryOps pop–up space in San Francisco starting October 22, 2016, followed by an exclusive release at all Armoury at Champs Sports locations TOMORROW October 25, 2016 and at all Champs Sports stores nationwide on October 27, 2016 retailing for $140.00 USD.

Constructed with proprietary technologies and designed to drive the league’s back-to-back MVP to new heights, the Curry 3 is the optimal combination of lightweight support, balance, speed and durability. Powered by Under Armour’s newest breakthrough in fabric technology, Threadbare™, Under Armour and Stephen Curry have created a new shoe that breaks the mold of what to expect from basketball footwear, with innovative technology and design.

To celebrate the release of the SC Camo colorway, Champs Sports and Under Amour hosted a takeover at Pier 35 in San Francisco, with a variety of activations at a premium pop-up store, including:

· a –3-on-3 basketball tournament

· A 30 minute concert by artist French Montana

· free haircuts by local barbers

· custom shoelace giveaways

· multi-media stations, including a 360 photo booth and live screen printing

· art and exterior graffiti mural panels presented by Illuminaries

· the exclusive first release of the sneaker on location, 5 days before the colorway goes on sale nationwide
