Who Is Apollo Night LA ‘Artist of the Week’ Dre FiRe?

This Apollo Night LA (@apollonighla) “Artist of the Week” Dre FiRe (@DREFIR3), is a 27-year-old Experimental Hip Hop artist and songwriter born in Belleville IL. Growing up in a constant struggle inspired him to captivate the sound of his revolutionary craft & thoughts. His persona has amplified the phrase “anything is possible.”  Modern issues of society weighs heavy into his insanely clever lyricism. Now he is here to make an impact on the music industry as well as the world.

From the outside looking in, who is Dre FiRe?

A very mysterious/spiritual person…I am the Change this industry and world needs,  That’s the best way i can put it.

What brought you to the entertainment industry, music specifically?

God & Tupac & Kanye west and My Aunt Lillie and My Granny Betty and many more people

Tell us about your current project and your ApolloNightLA “Artist of the Week” winning single

My most recent project, I created this mixtape “TO BE CONTINUED…587” from my daily struggles and reality of this crazy world, I just go through too much!  I like expressing my joys and sorrows in my music. It’s inspired by many great people who died of trying to bring change before me.


My winning single from Apollo Night LA I made the song Goddess about the singer Tinashe because the song speaks for itself

Any special goals?

To release a movie in the national box office that I wrote and will act in.

It happened in 2015 when I said OVO STANDS FOR OUR VICTORY’S OVER on Twitter….Big Sean screenshot my tweet and posted it on IG. I started trending and then he deleted it before I could really have some fun LOL. Drake fans came to my twitter…taunting me LOL so I made two  diss tracks.

I get no reply not because he’s Drake…its because he knows the cost of making me famous…And that’s it…

To be the one of the greatest, you have to go up against giants with no fear.
