Recap: High Life Music Festival 2017

The 2^nd annual High Life Music Festival, which took place at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino was home to thousands of festival goers over the course of the two days. The High Life Music Festival, empowered by Brass Knuckles and its sponsors, is a 2 day celebration competition exhibition of the best Hip Hop, Reggae, and medical marijuana in Southern California, recognizing California’s premier MMJ growers, breeders, edible chefs and extract artists.

Festival goers enjoyed music from today’s hottest recording artists, which included Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Waka Flocka w/ DJ Whoo Kid, Fat Joe, Tee Grizzley, Twista, TI, Young Dolph, Brotha Lynch Hung, B Legit, Chanel West Coast, Marty Grimes, Raven Felix, just to name a few. Blac Chyna stopped by Saturday night and watched the fight inside the Brass Knuckles building, then made her way over the stage cabanas where she stayed and watched the rest of the show.

BTS highlight – This clip which went viral, featuring Twista and Revolt TV correspondent Marisa Mendez  took place backstage before his show at the festival! Twista has now made it the #TwistaChallenge for any of his fans that can go toe to toe with him in his upcoming tour, like Marisa did.

Xzibit’s Brass Knuckles interactive 3 story experience, designed with a prohibition-theme, sat at the center of the festival inside of the main building. Xzibit stayed on site available to festival goers throughout the weekend making sure they were able to visit each level of the build out. The first floor sat as a Brass Knuckles store front with a secret door to the 2^nd level which was a private gentleman’s lounge with DJ, exotic dancers and bar.  The 3^rd level sat as lounge area with sofas and a dance floor for those who wanted to escape the festival to a more lounge vibe feel.

Here’s a taste of the sounds served to the massive crowds,  flame spittas like Bonny Billionaire, Tee Grizzley, and Twista (In order of appearance on the video) got it started for the massive crowd. The Hype Magazine man in LA HenGee Garcia and film school grad Mario Taylor delivered some dope looks from the event.
