New Artist Trap Beckham Life is Lit

Newcomer Trap Beckham @trapbeckham is one of the few commercial artist to represent Jacksonville, Florida. Known for his single, “Birthday Chick,” he ushers in the new age of Def Jam recording artist. As “The Golden Boy of the Hood,” he brings trap sounds to life with his latest album, Life is Lit. After consistently releasing consecutive mix-tapes on his birthday July 14th, Trap Beckham has garnered regional success. Beginning in 2012 with the Artist, Song, and Performer of the year at the Duval Diamond Awards. Sonically the album is a mixture of southern party jams and trap energy. Drawing inspiration from seasoned label mate, Kanye West, Trap both produces and writes his own music.
