New High School Basketball Documentary from LeBron James and Jay Williams Now on NBA YouTube

If you missed the series premiere of LeBron James-Executive Produced series “Best Shot” the all-new basketball documentary which comes from James,  Maverick Carter, and Emmy-nominated director Michael John Warren, starring former NCAA champion and NBA standout, Jay Williams, you might want to catch up!  The show is LeBron’s first TV/Film project to debut since relocating to Los Angeles to join the Lakers.

Best Shot follows Jay Williams as he returns to his home state of New Jersey to join Newark’s Central High School boys basketball coaching staff.  More than a basketball documentary, Best Shot is a powerful and inspiring journey into the lives of a group of young student-athletes working to rise above the challenges they encounter both on and off the court, in one of Newark’s poorest neighborhoods.

The highly anticipated YouTube Original Series Best Shot launched July 18th, 2018 on the NBA YouTube Channel. The all-new eight-part series follows former NCAA champion and NBA standout, Jay Williams, as he returns to his home state of New Jersey to join Newark’s Central High School boys basketball coaching staff. Alongside longtime head coach Shawn McCray, they’ll chase the school’s first state championship in over a decade while working together to mentor the players through their own unique challenges and personal conflicts.

More than a basketball documentary, Best Shot is a powerful and inspiring journey into the lives of a group of young athletes working to rise above the unique challenges and personal conflicts they face on and off the court.
