Dr Maleek – Redemption
Long Beach, California Native Dr Maleek started making music in 2016 with his first single “Don’t Say Nothin” featuring Tory Lanez and The Game. Since then he’s amassed over 8 million streams on singles and EPs through Apple Music, Spotify, and more. His last project “Complications” peaked at number 16 on the iTunes R&B charts. Dr Maleek has been gaining his fan base recently selling out venues in his home state of California and will be headlining a tour early 2019.
His new 4 song EP, “Redemption” demonstrates his range showcasing 4 different styles. “Connected” is more his trademark smooth R&B sound while “Lay Down” showcases his inner LL Cool J. in “Juicy” he enlists the help of 24hrs, which hit #54 on iTunes. “Misbehave” is the final song on the EP. He knows his audience and gives them what they want with the sexy R&B meets Hip-Hop style that has been successful for artists like Chris Brown and others.
