AD To LA to Possibly Team With LeBron James? One Source Thinks So

Earlier this week Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson the host of the Scoop B Radio reported that he spoke to a Source over the weekend. The Source believed that the Lakers are not planning on waiting for Anthony Davis to become a free agent in the summer of 2020. The same Source stated that with talking with two people close to the situation that the Lakers could attempt to propose a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans as early this year.

For the Lakers to engage in a transition of that magnitude, they would have to part ways with some of their young talented players and bring in a three-team to make the deal work.  Per Robinson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could be to accept a trade  (He’s eligible to be traded after December 15th, he would also have to give up his early bird rights) as his salary could be vital in any trade scenario for the wages to add up. Trading for AD won’t be as easy as signing Kevin Durant in free agency next summer. According to Robinson, his source told him the Lakers are looking to showcase the biggest names in Los Angeles.

Anthony Davis recently changed agents and is now represented by Rich Paul and Klutch Sports, which is LeBron James’ childhood friend and agent. We will keep you updated as this story develops.
