RKCB – Know Love

After spending the majority of 2018 in seclusion in the studio, the soulful R&B leaning dream pop duo RKCB returned to the spotlight last month with the release of “Alone With You Pt. 2” (buy/stream/watch the video), the acclaimed follow-up to their 2017 single “Alone, With You.” Now the LA-based duo is picking up right where they left off with the release of their lush new single “Know Love,” another stunning new electronic R&B cut. “Know Love” draws upon the moody aesthetic set forth on “Alone With You Pt. 2” and adds in the duo’s signature alchemic blend of modern production techniques to include warm synth lines and heart-pounding percussion that wash over the listener, while RKCB’s impassioned vocals elevate the track to exorbitant, face-peeling levels.

According to RKCB, “Know Love” was the first song we wrote in London. We had both been reading a book by Alan Watts which ended up inspiring a lot of our new music. At the heart of it, it’s a song about witnessing, recognizing and accepting change. Lyrically, we just tried to capture a true moment in transition. It’s a very personal song about emotional growth but one we think can translate to many different situations.”
