Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Collection x Bruce Lee Collection release

As a kid, Steve Aoki idolized Bruce Lee as the famed kung-fu master who defied odds onscreen and off, solidifying his legacy and status as a boundary breaking icon. Aoki named his record label and subsequent fashion brand “Dim Mak” as a nod to Bruce Lee’s signature fight move: dim mak – the touch of death. The name itself acts as a constant reminder to stay focused and to forge his or her own path.

In his exclusive collaboration with the Bruce Lee Foundation, Steve Aoki designed 11 new styles with a covetable signature yellow and black striped microfiber athletic tracksuit reminiscent of Bruce Lee’s famed costume from his final film “Game of Death” (1979). The graphics that were printed on hoodies and t-shirts feature artwork by the highly respected Korean Manga style illustrator Kim Jung Gi. This capsule collection will be launched exclusively at top designer and sneaker retailer UNKNWN’s pop up space in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, FL that opened earlier this month (166 NW 26th St, Miami, Florida).
