“Zo has been a constant force for us,” said Knicks co-captain, Lance Thomas.“
He would continue:
“You know, playing with a chip on his shoulder ever since he had an opportunity.”
That is what he did in his debut against the Atlanta Hawks.
In that game against the Atlanta Hawks, Trier recorded 15 points, four rebounds, and two blocks, in a reserve role that resulted in a 126-107 Knicks’ victory.
He would go on to elevate his game to the next level by scoring a career-high with 25 points against the New Orlean Pelicans. The Knicks would go on to win 113-109.
Trier’s teammate Kevin Knox would tally 17 points on seven of ten shots from the floor at halftime of the Friday’s (12-14-18) game against the Charlotte Hornets.
