Premiere: Emerging R&B Artist Mariana Releases Debut Single and Music Video ‘Rewind’

Bursting onto the music scene with an artistic confidence well beyond her years, singer/songwriter MARIANA today announced the release of her debut single and accompanying music video, entitled ‘REWIND’. Having found her voice and worked on her unique sound over the last year in Los Angeles, 19-year-old Mariana penned the soulful track based on experiences in her own life.

Mariana’s smooth voice, relatable lyrics, and effortless charisma take front-row-center in the ‘REWIND’ music video directed by ShootersClubLA – taking audiences by surprise. ‘REWIND’ is a song about loyalty and betrayal with a love interest. It laments the experience of being hurt but learning to cope and move on, even when one wishes they could just rewind. The track and video is sure to strike a chord with young listeners who have wasted time on the wrong person…

Having found her passion for making music at a young age, New York native Mariana Velletto, professionally known as MARIANA, is set to take the world by storm. Mariana is a Jamaican/Italian singer/songwriter, hailing from New York small town Utica, where she took time to develop her sound and style. At age 18 she moved to Los Angeles to commit full-time to her craft. A year later, she is ready to take her unique sound global. Heavily influenced by some of music’s greatest female artists, including Beyoncé, Aaliyah and Keyshia Cole, Mariana has an infectious soulful voice and old-school sound reminiscent of Monica.
