TRIPSIXX Brings His A Game on His Demon EP
XXL, Complex, Hot New Hip-Hop, and Respect Mag have all had TRIPSIXX on their radar for a while. He’s been dropping fire singles all of 2019 and just got done touring with Roy Woods. Now the rapper’s ready to hit us with the EP Demon, his first project since Metal Gear Tape in 2017, dropping this Friday.
This EP is a great example of everything that TRIPSIXX has to offer fans. Songs like “Off My Mind” bring some darkness and emotional depth to the project, with angsty, emo-rap vocals and a rock-influenced guitar. But the rapper keeps the project dynamic and switches up with songs like “Argue With That”, which brings a trap beat and showcases his quick flow.
This 7 track EP shows us a wide range of TRIPSIXX’s abilities, delivering a project that brings versatility while staying cohesive. No two tracks sound the same, but they’re all unmistakably TRIPSIXX, each song with its own unique vibe and delivery.
