New Music Livestreaming App WAV Allows Fans to Tip Artists During Performance

Hype Magazine recently got an invitation to check out the headquarters for new music live streaming app, WAV, and was treated to a front row seat for the live stream taping of The Industry Talks Show. The event featured a panel discussion with industry trailblazers, Kaleena Zanders, Johnny What, Jess Furman and WAV’s own Managing Director, Sue Hahn.
The innovative music and tech startup, WAV Media unveiled the revamped 3.0 version of WAV earlier this month to enhance the artist-to-fan experience. The brand’s artist discovery and live streaming app has a number of groundbreaking new features, including a Paypal integration that allows fans to gift an artist during a live stream performance.
“Since our start in 2017, we’ve been committed to enhancing the artist-to-fan experience within the music community,” said Managing Director of WAV Media, Sue Hahn. “We strive to offer our creators the necessary tools and creative freedom to craft and stream their own work, so we’re excited to take our platform to another level with the new app and contest series.”
Available for download on iOS and Android, WAV 3.0 offers users a refreshed design alongside an intuitive, streamlined home feed, enabling them to effortlessly discover livestreams by WAV artists and follow trending content in real time. WAV has also made its acclaimed livestreaming capabilities even more accessible through its partnership with PRISM Live Studio, an innovative program that allows users to livestream directly from a desktop computer, in addition to incorporating interactive effects and filters to create customized and engaging content. The tech company has also introduced brand partnerships with the likes of FADER and record label, Insomniac.
