Dax Evokes The Passion of Christ in New Cinematic Video for Single “Dear God”

Recreating the controversial Hollywood blockbuster, “The Passion of the Christ” in his own image for his new single “Dear God”,Dax challenges the tenets of blind faith and organized religion as he conducts a one-sided conversation with God that is as relatable as it is audacious.

In “Dear God”, Dax asks the questions many have asked throughout their lifetime and even more perhaps today than yesterday! Dear God is a serious joint that includes massive sonics to match the lyrical missiles launched by this young lion and could be a breakout single for Dax; the video has already clocked over 1 million views since it’s debut on October 10.

DAX began his meteoric rise as a humble overnight janitor and starter for his college basketball team. His love for poetry and undeniable gift for lyricism though have paved the way for streams in the millions across the DSP’s – his recent global release with #1 Indian rapper, Emiway, “I Been That” garnered 6.9M in just 6 days (it currently sits at over 11M.) Likewise, his single “She Cheated Again,” was a tremendous success for Dax. In just one month’s time it amassed over 5M YouTube views, 4.5M Spotify streams, 4M Apple Music streams, gaining large recognition from outlets like Genius, No Jumper and HipHopDX as one of the most relatable songs ever made.

With a lyrical prowess and tenacious delivery to rival that of Joyner Lucas and a powerful command as a performer, “Dear God” can only serve as a paving stone on the road for Dax to become a household name. Whether the subject matter resonates or offends, the talent with which it is delivered is undeniable. #DaxNation is on the move.

Look for Dax live this fall in a city near you in his first headlining tour – It’s Different Now. Tickets and schedule available at Daxofficial.com/tour.
