Pittsburgh Rapper Fly Wizzy Passes From Overdose

In August of last year, we introduced you to the artistry of Fly Wizzy a rising talent from Pittsburgh. Today we regret to announce his passing via overdose. Below is the official statement from his record label Casanova Records:

As a music industry executive, in the near future, I will be putting together a compilation album to raise awareness on musicians and artists’ trouble with drugs. As a key player, we can make an impact through music. We have to do better for the future of the youth.

I’ll be talking to my peers about this project in the upcoming weeks and it will be released through Casanova Records and distributed by The Orchard/Sony Music. All royalties will be donated to an organization to help artists with drug addiction.
