DELANILA collaborates with choreographer Dušan Týnek for a livestreamed performance on 5/14

On May 14 at 7:30pm and then 8:15pm Eastern, DELANILA—whose debut album Overloaded was released last week and featured in the New York Times, NPR Music and NY1, among others—is collaborating with choreographer Dušan Týnek and dancers from his company, Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre, for an evening of dance live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook.

DELANILA is the project of multiple award-winning “notable cross-genre composer” (The New Yorker) and performer Danielle Eva Schwob, whose album Overloaded was released last week. She has garnered international acclaim for her concert music, alt-rock songs and film scores, and has a history of collaborating with the dance world; her music video “Time Slips Away,” which won “Best Music Video” at the Independent Shorts Awards, the LA Shorts Awards, and the Spotlight Film Awards, features dancer Leal Zielińska. DUŠAN TÝNEK is a Brooklyn-based choreographer, dancer, artistic director, and artist known for his striking blend of theatricality and musicality in formally structured modern dance. Týnek has garnered much critical acclaim and built an impressive reputation for productions known for their high level of innovation, sophistication, expert craftsmanship and exceptional level of artistry from its dancers, live musicians, and designers.
