Getting to Know Hip Hop Producer: Meztheprod

We’re very excited to introduce you to the making of a new music mogul, Meztheprod. With his parents being artist’s as well, Mez is no newbie to the industry. Having worked with several musical legends, Mez prefers to give back to the music community by helping other artist’s to achieve their dreams. He uses his influence on social media to help others step into the light by offering opportunities to produce music with him. His work has and will continue to grab the attention of those who look up to him as a role model for music and business. A true force to be reckoned with, hard times never stopped Mez.

Quick to become one of Washington D.C and New York City’s most sought out hip hop’s figures, his new Beat tape “Good Sunday” has a new soulful vibe to it that you can’t miss out on. He has successfully worked with well known artists like Stro The MC, Twista, Fred Da Godson, Chinx Drugs, Mr. Cheeks, Tony Sunshine. With a new album on the way, he teaches the masses about how to release and promote music for themselves alongside the release. The love of music he has embedded within in his album speaks to many demographics; his messaging talks about how life is all about having fun and being yourself and that exactly what he plans to continue to execute for his loyal fans.

His previous album “Power” stands alone as a favorite with fans. The single titled after the album Power, spreads a high-appealing message with lyrics and an upscale visual of scenes all the way from slavery to our former President Obama. His single “Illuminati” discusses the cult conspiracy based around his subjective opinion. The music video shows Mez in a losing state of mind due to the hypothetic downfall of joining the cult. Fast forward to 2015, Meztheprod released a well-received beattape through Coast To Coast Mixtapes, helping elevate the project by building a foundation for where he is today. Mez has also started a local non-profit organization where he has given back to his community by giving toys, coats, school supplies, and more to the people who need it. Giving back to his city is of the utmost importance to Mez and he hopes his music can continue to inspire others toward self-expression and a genuine love for documenting life.
