Friday 29th May, London:  Multi-instrumentalist dance producer, writer and singer Daniel Blume is back with his latest love song for the dancefloor ‘Heartbreaker’. Written and produced by Daniel himself, ‘Heartbreaker’ is another sure-fire dance anthem from this colossal new talent, with an up-tempo top line capable of becoming a certified earworm this summer.

The next instalment to an already impressive portfolio of sad songs that bang; including global smash and Cheat Codes collaboration ‘Who’s Got Your Love’ which has racked over 60 million global streams topping the US Billboard Dance charts, and recent releases, ‘Nights Like This’ & ‘Catch Feelings’; ‘Heartbreaker’ will continue to cement his reputation as one of the most exciting breaking artists in his native Ireland.

Described as ‘Dublin’s answer to Calvin Harris after swapping classical training for electronic sad songs that bang (Sunday Times Culture), Daniel has climbed Shazam, Spotify & airplay charts across the country. While gaining a number of convincing accolades internationally; from landing coveted spots on influential tastemaker playlists, to going on tour with Jax Jones, and being named ‘One To Watch’ by MTV, Official Charts and RTE 2FM; his fast track rise as an exceptional producer and a compelling frontman is set to continue.

Given his talent for creating modernist dance, Blume’s background might come as a surprise. His classical training began as a child when he earned a place at the world-renowned Yehudi Menuhin School. He studied guitar and piano, his education funded via a scholarship set up by The Rolling Stones. At the age of 15 he won the BBC’s Young Composer of the Year award and a glittering career in the world of classical music seemed to be his destiny. But by that point, Blume was already enamoured by the world of electronic music. Martin Garrix’s ‘Animals’ being the track that rewrote his future.

With a series of new releases confirmed throughout the year; including an EP of tracks written and produced as part his interactive series ‘You gave me a title, I made a song, (which gives an insight into the behind-the-scenes processes of his artistry as he produces brand new floor fillers in under an hour based on fan suggestions); it’s only a matter of time before his insistent earworms become chart-bound anthems.
