Nicolas McCoppin Shines As Emerging Artist to Watch with New Video “Ur Love”

New York based Nicolas McCoppin is stepping onto the scene as the next major pop artist to watch. Utilizing his platform to encourage others to unapologetically be themselves, McCoppin has created an electro-pop musical space that many are regarding as the “next Charlie XCX”. His newest music video “Ur Love” is a showcase of the artist’s dreamy-pop aesthetic, upbeat vibes, and silky vocals.

Hailed by VEVO as “Bound To Be a Hit”, “Ur Love” released worldwide at #25 on the “Incoming Pop” playlist among the likes of Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Niall Horan, and Chloe MK. The single boasts an identifiable dance-pop sound with an 80s pop flare that launches McCoppin into a dream-pop fantasy about dating and queer love. The video depicts a love story between a LGBTQ couple –  namely McCoppin himself and a dreamy look-alike to Harry Styles. Throughout the video we see McCoppin’s story come to life with dreamlike scenes filled with the pink hues of love. McCoppin’s crafty – and super catchy – lyrics weave in and out as the viewer takes it all in and gets lost in the melody.

Needless to say, fans love McCoppin’s dream-pop fantasy land. In just a short amount of time, McCoppin has garnered over 100,000 Spotify streams between his 2 debut singles and is eager to release his first full-length project this summer, with his next single releasing in June.
