Peter $un & Guapdad 4000 Unite on Trippy Summer Single + Music Video “100 Proof”

Rising Richmond, VA artist and producer Peter $un recruits Oakland rapper Guapdad 4000 for his carefree new single “100 Proof”, a collaboration Peter $un said came naturally:

“My collab with Guapdad was a product of a drunk night in the studio. Me and Lasik [my producer] were playing around with the idea for the record,” Peter $un explains. “This was our last song of the session after like five demos. After we made it, I knew we needed Guap on the second half so we sent it to him and he ended up loving it.”

The duo also come together in the animated music video (produced and animated by Farrah Fawx and Paul Salibe Jr.), which features the pair in a boozy, alternate universe filled with aliens, a singing diamond grill, literal moonwalking, and a flying durag.

Dubbed the rising neo-soul sound, Peter $un’s music combines a feel-good fusion of rap, jazz, and electronica dripping with soulful psychedelic. The new tunes radiate an empowering, upbeat energy that forces you into the present moment.
