Haven – Ego

17-year-old Haven, a singer-songwriter from Singapore is dropping her new single, in fact, her 5th single (3 English singles, 2 Mandarin singles) in a span of less than 1 year. Titled ‘EGO’, she wrote this song since last year, sharing her pent up feelings, frustrations, her other alter ego, and the conflicts surrounding her at a tender young age. As one starts to listen from her debut single ‘A Piece of Paper‘, to ‘Blue‘ and now to ‘EGO, you will feel her strong feelings or even some anger, as a teenager living in this fast-paced world, trying to balance real-word and her own dreams. Many kids would have experienced this somehow during this stage.

HAVEN’s expressed her feelings and thoughts in ‘EGO’, how sometimes pride can just seem to be taking over her mind or other’s mind, making it hard to make decisions or choices. This song strongly reflects her emotional conflicts with herself and with others, and how our alter ego can get the better of us.

EGO’s new music video also features HAVEN’s stunning and wild image for this song.
