Rock Artist GABRIEL Shatters The Delusion of Our Differences In New Single “What A Shame”

Ahead of the official music release, rock artist GABRIEL drops his highly anticipated hit “What A Shame”, available now on all streaming platforms. “What A Shame” comes as a direct reaction to the current state of social tension and civil unrest. In the hard-hitting single, GABRIEL encourages people to take a moment to sit and listen to one another in hopes that it will create a better understanding of where we are coming from.

GABRIEL teamed up with Joe Kaltenbach to create an undeniably catchy guitar riff which pairs seamlessly with their earnest observation of the world. Their goal with the track is to break down the firmly built walls that keep us from truly connecting. In a word where social media reigns supreme, we seem more disconnected than ever before. And during something like covid, it’s important for our mental health to at least attempt to connect online. In Gabriel’s words, “I hope people will hear this song and realize that at the end of the day we are all the same. We all want to be heard, we all want to be accepted and we all want to be loved.” Everyone is passionate about something right now, and it’s important we let that something be heard, but with songs like this we are reminded that it’s even more important we listen.

Named Top 10 Under 20 at the 2018 Dallas International Guitar Festival, Gabriel fuses his blues- inspired roots with heavy rock influences for a sound that is dynamic, hard-hitting and lyrically solid. To date, Gabriel has opened for Tony Jackson and Jackson Ward, Danny Kensey’s Cedar Creek and Big Gun; played the guitar at a packed Kingston Mines alongside Linsey Alexander and has played shows best described by the phrase “standing room only.”

On October 23rd, GABRIEL will release the official music video for “What A Shame”. Until then, be sure to follow him on Instagram here for updates!
