Stan Bush On His New Album “Dare To Dream,” The “Transformers” Legacy, Life During COVID-19 & More

Stan Bush is arguably best known for the song “The Touch,” as featured in Transformers: The Movie and the latest Transformers film Bumblebee. An anthem for Transformers fans around the world, “The Touch” was also featured in the movie Boogie Nights, on NBC’s Chuck, Fox’s American Dad, ABC’s The Goldbergs, WWE’s Monday Night Raw and the Guitar Hero and Saints Row IV video games.

Bush, who was inducted into the Transformers Hall Of Fame in 2014, was awarded an Emmy in 1997 in the category of Best Original Song for his track “‘Til I Was Loved By You,” which appeared in the soap opera Guiding Light. Meanwhile, his song “Capture the Dream,” was featured in the 1996 Olympics. Additionally, Bush’s tracks were used in the Jean-Claude Van Damme films Kickboxer and Bloodsport, and his list of high-profile collaborators include Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain, award-winning songwriter Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams, Aerosmith), and KISS singer Paul Stanley.

The latest album from Stan Bush is Dare To Dream, as released earlier this month. Dare To Dream is Bush’s 14th album, and its epic opening track “Born To Fight” is currently featured in a worldwide promotional campaign on Netflix for its 2 most popular anime shows, BAKI and Kengan Ashura. The album also features the feel-good track “The 80’s,” which has an accompanying music video.
