FaZe Clan Announces Second Winner Of The FaZe5 Recruitment Challenge

FaZe Clan, the world’s most prominent and influential gaming organization, is proud to announce that FaZe VIRUS from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is the newest FaZe Clan member through its #FaZe5 challenge. Earlier today, FaZe Clan revealed via livestream on their Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels that FaZe VIRUS was the second of five winners in the competition. Hailing from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, FaZe VIRUS is largely regarded by his peers as one of the best Call of Duty players, if not the best in all of the middle east. VIRUS, always a skilled and passionate gamer, took a hiatus from gaming to obtain a degree in air traffic control. While enjoying his new career, VIRUS returned to gaming at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic and quickly amassed a following for his laser-like focus and unbelievable reflexes. VIRUS joined FaZe in 2020 through the FaZe 5 challenge, and is now making it his mission to inspire and bring more recognition to other skilled gamers in the Middle East.

Over 211,000 people around the world applied for the #FaZe5 recruitment challenge for the chance to become one of five new members of FaZe Clan. Within the 30 days of the challenge, #FaZe5 original content had a combined exposure of over 35M views. Along with his newfound status as a FaZe member, FaZe VIRUS is taking home $20K and an endorsement deal from FaZe title sponsor G FUEL.
