Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Collaborate with Top Fashion Designers to Launch ‘Classic Remix’

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple announced the launch of Classic Remix, an initiative designed to connect with the next generation of fashion enthusiasts. Through Classic Remix, Jack Daniel’s has collaborated with two notable designers to release limited-edition custom apparel inspired by the brand’s flavored offerings, Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Apple. In addition, Jack Daniel’s will match 100 percent of apparel sales to create two fashion grants, totaling up to $40,000, to be awarded to emerging designers.

“Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Apple created Classic Remix to showcase and amplify authentic cutting-edge designers and provide opportunities for those up and coming,” said Keenan Harris, Senior Multicultural Marketing Manager for Jack Daniel’s. “We value the impact that fashion has on culture and expression, and we are excited to pour into these creatives to nurture future fashion icons.”

The program captures the creative journey behind their Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Apple inspired designs. This season’s Classic Remix designers are:

Sheila Rashid – Chicago native and bespoke designer, known for her ability to curtail gender identity in her designs, draws from the inspiration of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey to create exclusive canvas overalls, retailing at $350. Rashid delicately bakes in rich hints of honey throughout her limited-edition overalls that are available now at sheilarashid.com.

Ouigi Theodore – Fashion designer and Creative Director of The Brooklyn Circus/BKc, uses fashion as a storytelling tool and draws inspiration from the pages of history books. Theodore’s cut and sew varsity jackets pay homage to Jack Daniel’s heritage and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple. Retailing for $550, these varsity jackets are now available at thebkcircus.com.

In an effort to further support fashion creatives, Jack Daniel’s will match 100 percent of sales to create two grants, totaling up to $40,000, for aspiring fashion designers.

To be eligible for the Classic Remix fashion grant, designers must submit one original fashion design sketch, a portfolio of fashion design work (three – five pieces), and a brief video describing their vision for future growth and how it will impact their community. The grant application will open Monday, February 22, 2021.

For official grant rules or to apply, please visit JackDaniels.com/ClassicRemix. All entries must be received by April 4, 2021, and judging will conclude April 12, 2021.
