Multi-Platinum Producer M.Geezy Has A History Of Producing Some Of Florida’s Biggest Hits

Melvin Goggins, commonly known as M.Geezy is a super producer from Jacksonville, FL (by way of Lake City, FL) that has produced a multitude of hit records, his polarizing sound has led him and his collaborators to charting on Billboard, iTunes, Tik Tok and more. His first entry into the Billboard charts came with fellow Jacksonville artist T. Rone in 2013 with “Hello Love,” the song peaked at #33 on “R&B/HIPHOP AIRPLAY” and lived on the chart for 16 solid weeks. The popularity of the song grew so much that it caught the attention of Birdman, who ended up signing T. Rone to Cash Money Records. Since it’s release, the track has garnered 6 million views on YouTube alone.

In 2018, M.Geezy circled back around to drop ‘Twerk 4 Me” with rising Jacksonville superstar Kamillion. The controversial song gained traction over the years and even surpassed 1 billion views on Tik Tok a few months ago, becoming 1 of the top streamed songs on the platform, going viral time and time again. More recently, “Twerk 4 Me 2” was released and is starting to pick up steam as well.

Later on in 2019, he co-produced “Worth It” by R&B/pop star YK Osiris, who is also a Jacksonville, FL native. The song was a catalyst for YK’s career and led to him signing a deal with Def Jam Records, peaking at #33 on Billboard’s “U.S.RISING ARTISTS INDEX” chart. YK then became 1 of XXL’s Freshman Class Of 2019. It’s safe to say that M.Geezy just has that “ear” when it comes to crafting records and identifying what works for each artist.
