Hana Mae Lee On Her New Film “Phobias,” Other Upcoming Roles, Career Goals, Hobbies & More

Vertical Entertainment is scheduled to release the horror/thriller film Phobias to on-demand and digital outlets on March 19, 2021. Phobias stars an ensemble cast of Leonardo Nam (Westworld), Martina Garcia (Narcos), Hana Mae Lee (Pitch Perfect), Lauren Miller Rogen (Izzy Gets the F*ck Across Town), Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect), Macy Gray (The Paperboy) and Ross Partridge (Stranger Things). The movie was a filmmaking collaboration that explores extreme phobias, and it was executive produced by Radio Silence, the filmmaking team behind Ready Or Not and the upcoming sequel to Scream.

The aforementioned Hana Mae Lee is not only an actress, but also a model, comedian, and fashion designer. The Pitch Perfect film series may have been her first big break internationally, you may have also seen Lee in The Babysitter series, Those Who Can’t, Workaholics and/or Perpetual Grace, Ltd. Upcoming appearances for Lee beyond Phobias include roles in Sound Of Violence, Habit and Abruptio.

On March 12, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Hana Mae Lee via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond Phobias, we spoke about her aspirations as a writer, having a multi-faceted career as a performer, career goals, musical preferences and plenty more. Additional information on Lee is online via @HanaMaeLee on Twitter and Instagram, while more on Phobias can be found here.
