D21 Has Just Released a New Hit Project Titled ‘Space Needle’

We had a chance to sit down with the talented artist to go over the process of creating a masterpiece body of art. D21, originally from San Diego but now resides in Seattle, the artist states “It’s about my love and desire for the space needle in the sense that they hold a tradition every new year to celebrate by lighting off the fireworks and it is a huge part about here I am from”. D21 started to get infatuated with the love of making music at just the age of 15 years old. Unfortunately with not having music equipment, he’d have to settle for just writing down rhymes in his notepad until the age of 17 where he started recording and releasing on major music platforms.

We’ve asked D21 who is his greater inspiration for making music and this is what he had to say; “Travis Scott, Drake, Lil Uzi, DaBaby are the biggest inspirations in my music because I love how they approach their craft and adapt to certain songs no matter the tempo. Their sound is so dark, melodic, and wavy which fits me pretty well. I love my sound as a dark, bouncy, ascendant vibe to get in my feelings and share what I been through in my life to get to where I am today.” As an independent artist there are a behemoth amount of struggling that occurs throughout ones career and D21 shares no exception. He has struggled with lack of studio equipment, available tour dates and merchandise that record labels have at their expense. Knowing that he has to work twice as hard, that’s what he plans on doin until he is able to reach is goal and achieve these accolades. D21 foreshadows that he will one day have the platinum and gold plaques, while also touring and having merchandise for his fans and supporters. He’d one day love to work with Drake, lil durk, Travis Scott and lil Mosey. This artist knows he has a lot of work ahead of him and is willing to put in the work.
