Jeff Pollack On The New Hulu Docu-Series “McCartney 3,2,1,” Rick Rubin & Future Projects

In McCartney 3,2,1, Paul McCartney sits down for a rare, in-depth, one-on-one with legendary producer Rick Rubin to discuss his groundbreaking work with The Beatles, the emblematic 70s arena rock of Wings and his 50 years and counting as a solo artist. In this 6-episode Hulu series — which explores music and creativity in a unique and revelatory manner — you hear McCartney and Rubin partake in an intimate conversation about the songwriting, influences, and personal relationships that informed the iconic songs that have served as the soundtracks of our lives. McCartney 3,2,1 was directed by Emmy Award-winning Zachary Heinzerling and executive produced by McCartney, Rubin, Scott Rodger, Peter Berg, Matthew Goldberg, Brandon Carroll, Jeff Pollack, Frank Marshall and Ryan Suffern with Leila Mattimore serving as co-executive producer. Endeavor Content serves as the studio, producing alongside MPL Communications, Shangri-La, Film 45, Kennedy Marshall and Diamond Docs.

The aforementioned Jeff Pollack is the Chairman and CEO of Pollack Music & Media Group, one of the music industry’s top prognosticators of musical trends. His insight and revelations play a large role in determining what consumers see and hear over the airwaves. Pollack started his work in films as a music supervisor, working on dozens of films and earning 5 Academy Award nominations. In 2015, Pollack was a producer on the acclaimed and Emmy-nominated Frank Sinatra film All Or Nothing At All, later working on award-nominated documentaries related to Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash and the Laurel Canyon music scene. Pollack is a producer on Michael Connelly’s upcoming feature film Fair Warning and is an executive producer on the Netflix-aired hip-hop competition Rhythm + Flow.
