BluPrint, R&B Supergroup From BET’s “The Encore,” Release Their Debut EP

Having premiered back in June, BET Presents: The Encore, which aired its season finale this past Wednesday, quickly became a television juggernaut.

The popular reality series, the brainchild of Carlos King, chronicles the creation of an all-female supergroup made up of singers from the ’90s and 2000’s.

Hours ahead of Wednesday’s finale, BluPrint, comprised of Shamari Devoe [Blaque], Fallon King & Felisha King-Harvey [Cherish] and Kiely Williams [3LW], unveiled their impressive self-titled debut EP.

The six-track effort contains all original songs, with the lion’s share of songwriting and production courtesy of Fallon and Felisha, alongside Kosine (Nicki Minaj, Tamar Braxton), Elijah Blake (Usher, Keyshia Cole) and Bianca Atterberry, a.k.a Blush (Fantasia, Chris Brown). Since departed housemates / former group members Aubrey O’Day [Danity Kane], Lemisha Fields [702] and Pamela Long [Total] appear on “Only God Knows” and “Skeletons.”
