Daria Berenato On DaMandyz Donuts, Life As WWE’s Sonya Deville, Music, New Jersey & More

Daria Berenato — also known to millions as WWE Superstar Sonya Deville — was an established MMA competitor before signing with WWE in 2015. In the years since, Berenato has proven to be the rare WWE performer who can deliver the goods in a hard-hitting match in a ring yet also eloquently-represent the company in a non-WWE setting. Even when the New Jersey native is trying her hardest to get you to boo her, you still want to root for her, as social media content often shows her fun side.

Later this week, Daria Berenato — along with WWE cohort Mandy Rose — will be hosting a pop-up location of DaMandyz Donuts at The Space in Las Vegas. From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, the 2 WWE Superstars are scheduled to be on-site as customers enjoy some top-tier, protein-filled donuts. As the DaMandyz Donuts slogan goes: “It’s All About Balance.”

On August 11, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Daria Berenato via Zoom, as embedded below. Besides DaMandyz Donuts, we talked about her journey to WWE, life as a WWE Superstar, career goals, fitness, work ethic, New Jersey, music and more. More on Berenato, Deville, DaMandyz Donuts and her other projects can be found by clicking here, here, here, here and here.
