Yo Gotti Drops Visuals to Support His ‘For The Record’ Single

It’s been an amazing year for Yo Gotti as a business man, artist and label head! In rapid succession he signed a major deal for his CMG imprint, became a co-owner of a major leagues soccer team AND had time to drop some fire music! Just watching him move as a business man is inspirational to say the least and his CMG roster is killing the Billboard charts as well. Check out the official line on what’ going on with this lion:

Today, multiplatinum musician and entrepreneur Yo Gotti unveiled the new music video for his single For The Record. The visual – which was directed by Ben Marc – finds Gotti delivering entrepreneurial gems while posted up in a barren desert surrounded by his collection of black Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs. The “For The Record” visual also shows how Gotti strikes the balance between hip-hop artist and businessman as the CMG CEO also flexes at the top of a helipad in business attire.

Gotti recently released the new single to celebrate the expansion of his entrepreneurial empire as the newest co-owner of Major League Soccer team, D.C. United as well! The song touches on his entrepreneurial ambitions, growth as a businessman and desire to set an example for his CMG cohorts. The new song is timely, considering that Gotti announced on Sept. 27 that he would be joining billionaires Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan as co-owners one of the most prestigious franchises in the Major League Soccer’s history.

Earlier this year, Gotti also announced a partnership with his CMG record label and Interscope Geffen A&M, where both organizations would collaborate to continue developing the careers of CMG’s successful roster of artists including Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee and more. The partnership has already proven to be a fruitful one, with Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg and EST Gee reaching the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for their respective projects.
